Originally from Dublin, I’ve spent half a lifetime abroad, first studying in France and then moving to Germany. I’ve lived here happily ever since, having set up as a freelance translator and copywriter back in 2003 after a spell in the market research sector.
I have many creative strings to my translator’s bow. As well as being a songwriter and musician, I write advertising copy, have ghost-written children’s books and am the go-to translator for numerous art galleries and publications.
When not at my desk, you will generally find me on the tennis court, walking by the Rhine, cooking with my wife or curled up with a good book and a glass of Italian red.
